Today was the smoothest experience I’ve ever had since I started donating blood. The staff was amazing and incredibly friendly—from the check-in process, where I was warmly welcomed, to the health check, which was quick and easy. I truly enjoyed our conversation during the process, and the donation itself was so smooth that I barely felt the needle at all. Thank you all for such a great experience. I’ll see you again very soon.
Always 30 minutes to 1 hour wait just to give blood. I really don't understand why. You trying to do something to help people, and they just willingly flush your time down the toilet. I'm not going back to your blood anymore. Edit/Update...... I decided to give them another chance and I gave blood. Everyone was very prompt and very professional. As a first-time ever donor, I had a truly wonderful experience at this facility! From check-in to the final step, the staff made me feel comfortable and cared for. Kwame was kind and attentive - his polite manner and reassuring voice really helped ease my nerves. During the donation itself, Melaku was just as wonderful, talking me through the donation and making sure I stayed comfortable. I had a confirmed appointment, but a staff member named Malaku refused to accept me without a valid reason. Despite showing my confirmation, he said no more donors were being accepted. His behavior was unprofessional and very disappointing
Kwame and the Red Cross Woodbridge team are amazing! Fantastic facility, fantastic staff, and most of all, a fantastic mission. Also, their peanut butter cookies are mucho yummy.
