Shauntay is such a joy and a wonderful leader/provider! She has a smile on her face always and yet, she’s incredibly skilled. Her attitude routinely is “yes, we’ll figure this out.” She and her team are heroes, day in and out.
Glad there is a donation center in the West Valley. And the staff are great. And they do it all here.
I went to the Glendale location this morning and after my blood pressure was deemed ‘too high’ even though it was well below the Red Cross’s cut off point (180/100) I was not eligible to donate, in addition my doctor has cleared me to donate, so I’m unsure why the intake representative turned me away given the guidelines of the Red Cross. I’m very disappointed but will happily go elsewhere to donate.
I was going to donate blood today, but forgot that it was at 11:15am, I came in at 11:45am and seen there was 1 person donating blood and a few staff. They would not take my donation of blood, O-at that. They keep e-mailing me saying that they're hurting for O- universal blood. If that is true, they just turned away blood that is in need. So sad 😔.
Was a driving by and decided to pull in and take my chances as a walk in and being a new client. Shauntay was my person. She was great! Friendly and amazing at what she does. I was in and out in less than an hour. I already scheduled my follow up and will probably Make this my new donation place
