The people at Red Cross are always so nice. It feels good to give back!
There was plenty of parking near the building. Check in was easy with the rapid pass. The attendant sat me down in room three. After about five minutes, the attendant returned to do the screening. We went through the questions then took my blood pressure, pulse, and the iron check just had my thumb inside a device for a few minutes. I was glad finger pricks were not necessary. After I was vetted, I followed her to the main room where there were three people tucked in their blankets giving plasma. I sat towards the back for t... read more
