I have not yet visited, but called for information. I spoke with Desiree, who was extremely kind, personable, professional, patient and knowledgeable. I greatly appreciate her. I have never been to or even called a Red Cross donation site before and she left me with a very good first impression. I may even volunteer at some point! Thanks to Desiree! Always professional treatment by staff for Platlet donations have donated 18 - 20 times per year last 5 years
They explained to my son. There was no wrongdoing on their part. It just makes me sad that my son’s arm was the one that had this reaction after donating. We were told this was considered normal, but as a father, it still hurts to see his arm looking like this even after a week. They also say that they are unable to offer any assistance whatsoever.
