I was scheduled to give blood. I was running late but was not given any contact info to let them know I got there and there was a sign that said all visitors must sign in. No one was at the desk. There was no signage to tell me where to go. There were maybe 2-3 people walking about or visible to me but no one acknowledged me. I left and canceled my appointment and my following appointment. The Red Cross Donation Center on Charlotte Road in Nashville is fantastic! Dedicated phlebotomists who treat the volunteer donors with great respect and care. It is a pleasure to donate platelets here, even though I drive from Clarksville! More folks should donate if they are able. Thanks be to God I am able to donate frequently.
