We travel a lot farther to donate because we so dislike this Center. The front desk lady is often rude, the TV is blaring something obnoxious, and the staff ate not as professional as at other locations. We loved Glen Burnie, which sadly closed, so will try Lanham
I have donated at many locations with great experience. Do yourself a favor and don’t come to this branch. I came once before and had a bad experience, thought to give it another try to help because of the repeated blood shortage requests. My last visit was Saturday 5/23/26. I arrived 8 minutes late. The front desk staff didn’t let me and wanted to check check with the guy in charge. The past 2 times I've come here for a blood donation appt, they have been so far behind. The 1st time, I waited over 45 mins and finally left. The 2nd time I was told there was a 30-60 min wait. I clarified that I had an appt and was told the wait time was even for those with appt. I ended up leaving because I could not wait that long. Both times they blamed it on being short staffed.
