I have donated at many locations with great experience. Do yourself a favor and don’t come to this branch. I came once before and had a bad experience, thought to give it another try to help because of the repeated blood shortage requests. My last visit was Saturday 5/23/26. I arrived 8 minutes late. The front desk staff didn’t let me and wanted to check check with the guy in charge. The past 2 times I've come here for a blood donation appt, they have been so far behind. The 1st time, I waited over 45 mins and finally left. The 2nd time I was told there was a 30-60 min wait. I clarified that I had an appt and was told the wait time was even for those with appt. I ended up leaving because I could not wait that long. Both times they blamed it on being short staffed. I donate at the center regularly on Saturday mornings. I make appointments online prior which usually helps limit waiting to 5-10 minutes. The staff members are kind and professional. They hande appointments pretty efficiently. If you make an appointment and complete you rapid pass, it is common for the appoint to finish in 30 to 45 minutes.
Scheduled an appointment, but was turned away on arrival due to being short-staffed. Staff spoke to me as if I was inconveniencing them by having an appointment and I was told I would have to wait a 'long time' if I wanted to donate. I was on time and followed directions, made an appointment, and my time was wasted and offered no solutions/compensation in any way. This isn't the first time I've been to this location and had a similar experience. Find a different location, don't waste your time.
