I had a whole blood donation appointment today, and everyone at the Red Cross was incredibly kind and supportive from beginning to end. I felt a little dizzy after donating, and the staff immediately took care of me. They helped me bend and move my legs, which made me feel much better very quickly. I try to donate 12 times a year. We always need platelets
Easy to get to, lots of appointment slots, good snacks, and the staff is kind staff. The only downside is the parking lot, the slots are narrow….I wasn’t expecting to encounter “shrinkflation” in a parking lot.
