Such a great team in place there. I do have my favorite... you know who you are :-) i've donated for the past ten years here. Occasionally, there will be a machine malfunction or an Iron issue but that is of no fault to the team that works here. For all those people that gave it one star because of a minor issue such as that, loosen up a little bit
What a total embarrasment! What is the point of an appointment if I am told "I don't have you scheduled. Did you make the appointment TODAY?" I showed proof of my appt by email and I felt like I was imposing on her?
I can't imagine how this location has almost 5 stars. I was treated with such disrespect by 2 employees who couldn't get it together. 1st time ever donating blood, I knew to drink water and eat before my appointment because I did a little research. The first lady didn't know what the hell she was doing, so she had to call her friend over, then that lady told me to squeeze and release the stress ball. I did everything they instructed me to do, then the 2nd lady said I didn't drink enough water and demanded I leave. The 1st la... read more
Pathetic. Waited for half hour after appt time to find out that the new “improved” hematocrit finger test showed mine too low to donate (after two LONG tests). It has not been too low in 30 years; the equipment is just not as accurate as a finger stick. I have donated 150 times to Red Cross but I won’t be back. Going to Ky Blood Center.
