I love the upbeat atmosphere. The staff is professional and knowledgeable. Donating blood is critical, and this team makes it enjoyable as well.
Always helpful
To be fair, the phlebotomist at this facility was competent and I was in and out within half an hour. And it was a fully booked day, so no doubt everyone was stressed and tired. But that doesn’t excuse the fact that I was treated with a brusqueness that almost amounted to rudeness by both the volunteer at the desk and the phlebotomist. I’ll donate elsewhere in future.
My experiences here have been degrading in quality each time I go, which is strange considering the desperation with which you call, text, and email me for blood. I’ve also found out some rather concerning things about the Red Cross outside of my time here. It really seems like this company does some evil things. I will look into other ways to donate.
