To be honest, this is the first time I have encountered such an attitude, it was my husband's second visit, where he donated blood. He doesn't know English well, so I help him with the answers to his questions. This time they didn't let me in, it was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Staff were pleasant and friendly to speak with; I had a good interaction while they were acquiring my information. However, During my initial interview, I made it perfectly clear that I have only had a successful draw for normal blood panels with a butterfly or pediatric needle. My attendant was insistent that I had ‘good veins’ and that it should not be an issue. Again, out of experience, I requested a butterfly or pediatric needle.
