Just a heads up to everyone. I have been going here for 14 years with no issues. The past few times I’ve been here have been after the original owner retired and I have been so disappointed and I feel cheated. I brought in over 30lbs of recycling and I only got $11.00 for the whole thing. I usually get over 20-25 for an amount that big. I did the math vs the weight I had and I should’ve gotten WAY more than that. Please be aware that these people are ripping you off and set the weight back by half please find somewhere else ... read more

Except they don't like walk in customers, especially when it comes to use of the barrels. Other than that, service is fast and efficient.

It's a great place to go recycling family oriented and the staff makes you feel like your number one, giving it a+ in customer service. You can also see the owner working there several times a week so if you ever have a problem you can go straight to him. It's good to see young Hispanic man owning and operating a great an honest business, one can only hope that more young men follow his lead.
American Recycling is a great place to turn in your cans. Very friendly staff my favorite staff member is Harry. He's always very friendly to me. I go there when he's working. Thanks guys for all your hard work.
