I rarely leave reviews, but after years of dealing with ongoing issues, I feel it’s necessary to share my experience. I have been a clean and responsible tenant for the past three years. I have consistently paid my rent and bills on time and have never been late. Despite this, the condition of the property has been unacceptable and has caused ongoing stress and concern. This entire company is a joke. The only way to contact anyone is through email. The maintenance team is half assed at best and just bandaids over problems, if you have a mold/mildew problem they will just wipe it off with chemicals and do nothing to fix the actual issue. When maintenance is coming they often don’t send any notifications till the day of. A total nightmare no physical address or phone number very poor and Tacky maintenance people who don't know what they are doing just looking to get a paycheck. I've dealt with this management company 1st hand and it's hands down the worst ever. I've lived in many states and different cities dealing with renting, and property management companys. AmericanAve is the worst. If you are looking to rent a home, put a home up for rent or whatever. Read my review then run🏃🏾♂️as fast as you can. Julius D Josey
They are big big scam...TWICE I have been trying to lease a home with them, and both times they had me pay the application fee and compete everything, say I am approved for said house, and then call me to say that same home is leased out by someone else. Through all the communications with them, not once was I told the house was already leased out until the moment I got approved for it. Such a shame!
