I recently used the American Professional Chimney & Masonry, Inc. for repair work to my fireplace chimney and my furnace chimney. The workers were punctual and very professional. They made sure my furniture was protected and cleaned up after the work was completed. I was impressed with their work.
PLEASE BEWARE!!!!! I am only giving them a one star because it is not possible to give them a zero. I called them on the phone to request a quote and I was told that they charge $75 just to come out. NO!!!!! That is ridiculous!!!! Please everyone beware that there are other companies that will come out and earn your business!
My brick fireplace had a lot of patterned openings which let a lot of warm air escape into the chimney instead of warming the room. American Professional Chimney did an excellent job of filling-in the missing bricks with closely matched bricks so that it look as if they were never missing in the first place. They built a dust-tent around the fireplace which kept dust from spreading into the room as they worked. They were reasonably priced, courteous, and did a great job. I highly recommend them. D.K.
