I do not recommend hiring this company to build a pool. I had a fiberglass pool installed in late 2022. The installation process seemed to go smoothly, but I noticed an issue with the pool right before they were finished. A greenish area at the bottom of the pool appeared, and after contacting San Juan Pools, they confirmed this was an iron stain. I just want someone to return my call. I built a pool 2.5 years ago, the pipes under the concrete is currently leaking. I have been leaving messages and trying to get anyone to answer the phone or call me back for a week now... 8.16.24 Update.. no one has ever returned my call. Please turn away from this company.

1-Star Review I would strongly advise against working with American Pool Builders Inc. in Lakeland. A friend of mine put down $7,500 for a pool two years ago and has received absolutely nothing in return. Communication has been poor, and they have not followed through on their promises. The company currently has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau, which speaks for itself. If you’re considering hiring them, I recommend doing thorough research first. American Pool Builders also does not pay the companies they use as contractors. We just received a notice of owner from the company that did the electrical work. A lien has been filed against our house because American Pool Builders hasn’t paid them. We have chipped pavers American Pool Builders refuse to come back and replace. I do not recommend this company to anyone. STAY FAR AWAY!!!! They have been knowingly providing customers with false construction timeframes. Additionally, they have little to no customer service as they ignore calls and emails. When you are paying as much as pools cost these days you want to deal with a company who is not only reputable but also provides a high standard of customer service and American Pool Builders is not that company. 1.
