UPDATE - I left the Buyer Beware review on this site. After leaving the review I called him again and he came to meet me personally and reimburse me.
I called this merchant (Clem Gutierrez) to come out and give me an estimate on replacing the traveller on my garage door. Over the phone he told me it would be $50 labor plus the cost of the part and he would come out the same day. He also said he would call me with the price of the part before doing the work. A few hours later my wife called to tell me he had completed the work and been paid. He led my wife to believe that he and I had agreed on this.
