My mom had a serious fall in September 2024, requiring multiple surgeries on her arm, shoulder, hand, and nose. While her lower body wasn’t injured, she already struggled with mobility due to neuropathy and knee issues. We went to Dr. Gilbert, a neurologist, hoping for guidance and solutions to help her recover and regain strength, especially when it came to her neuropathy. I would give 20 stars if I could! It is really hard to find Doctors with humanity and heart! After 8 years of miss diagnosis for my Mom we finally found answers, Dr. Gilbert and his Manager Rose went above and beyond for us, he even gave us an appointment on his vacation day! I have never seen an entire office work together for me like this office has. I’m going through some really concerning issues. The compassion and care here is incredible.
Dr. Gilbert treated me well from a clinical perspective; however, two of the exam rooms (at least) have crosses and pictures of Jesus, which I find unprofessional. Dr.Gilbert and/or his staff can believe in any god/s they choose, but patients shouldn't be subjected to their personal beliefs any more than I, as a psychotherapist, should subject my patients to my atheism.
