Two women/medics from AMR came in today to take someone to the hospital. When they came through the doors, the older woman said loudly, "Oh my GOD this place STINKS! I would rather die than live in a place like this!" The younger girl said, "Oh my God I know right?!" as they continued down the hall the older woman sang, "I would rather diiieeeeeee!" multiple residents were in the hall and heard them, one was in tears after they passed by. we approached them and explained calmly how their behavior affected others and that the... read more
My Dad and our family were the beneficiary of AMRs Sentimental Journey. They transported my Dad, who is bedridden and on hospice, to our home 30 minutes away from Auburn Oaks where he is being cared for. It was his request to visit one last time before he dies. The EMT and Paramedic who transported him stayed and took care of all the moves needed to keep him comfortable. We will ever be grateful for their generosity.
