Best service we have ever had. Bringing my husband home. They were very gentle and respectful. It wasn’t easy to maneuver the stretcher around small door frames to get him into his bed safely. They did an exceptional job!! Definitely recommend them to anyone needing medical transportation.
I have used this service 3 times a week for 2 months & am very dissatisfied with it. I'm suppose to be picked up at 6 pm to return to the facility but only 3 times has this happened. One time I was not picked up until the following day.☹️ While the transport people are excellent, the dispatcher., needs to find another job. Worst part they have a monopoly, no one else to call.☹️
My husband sliced his thumb on a crossbow April of 2020. AMR transported him to a different hospital to see a hand surgeon. AMR used their most expensive ambulance (a "life-supporting one" is what they said) so that they could charge us $1,600!!! I was in the parking lot of the hospital, and told the nurse I could just transport him, but she assured me it would be covered by my insurance. My 71-year-old mother tried multiple times to get her husband transported to her home. He was supposed to get transported in the morning. They kept giving her the run around and now they are saying he can't get transported until 1:00 am! I've never heard of anything like this. This company is pathetic. Too bad you can't give them negative stars.
AMR IS THE BEST TRANSPORT SERVICE IN THE US! Their night shift drivers really do care about patients and really prioritize exceptional patient care. 10/10 would recommend.
