I only wish I could give a zero. They transported her to the hospital okay but my problem with them was in our home. They asked me to undress and redress my mother in law which I wasn't up to doing but with the help of the female responder it was done. However, when I went to the living room when done I find a paramedic with my open wallet in his hands. He said he was looking for her id!!! Why not ask me for it! AMR REFUSES to file a claim against my insurance, despite a 1-on-1 teleconference between my insurance agency and one of their "800"-number customer service representatives. i used their services over 1 year ago. they've also added a $$ penalty to the original billing. i am ready & willing to pay... but only after insurance has paid & adusted the amount i owe. Was almost just hit by one of your ambulances at Biju and I 25 on ramp no lights just a siren kind of a busy area to have no lights.
If I could give this company a zero I would, however it appears it's 1-5. The billing company has zero ability to do their job. I have 3 insurance coverages, they billed the first two, and then continued to bill me for remaining balance - without billing the 3rd insurance company. I've taken copies of the coverage card front and back and mailed and emailed to them numerous times. Received a random text message that I owed money and they need my insurance information. They stated they needed my SSN. Wrong, you do NOT need my SSN. I have a feeling they are still going to try and bill me something even though my insurance settles all bills without costing the policy holder anything. They also outsource their billing dept, and the individual I spoke with became frustrated because I wouldn't provide a social, and only gave them an insurance #, then she hung up on me.
