We ve used AMPS to manage our rental home for 2 years, and they do a fantatsic job. They listen to the residents, they notify us of any changes, and the maintenance has been great. Thanks!
American Management finds almost any way to rip you off. They have twice lost mail and then attempted to charge me money. Do not rent from these people. If you are near UD, go almost anywhere other than Flyer Pointe. The house across from the middle building has some people who might be drug addicts and like to yell at each other at 4 am. My daughter rents from American Management at River Pointe Apartments. The current manager (S) very rude and unprofessional. She seems to have an anger management problem as well as being a gossip. My daughter has given her 30 day notice. Her rent has been paid on time and to my knowledge has not caused any problems(other than wanting repairs in a timely manner. I am a new tenant at Stoneybrook Townhomes, and as a professional, I know professionalism when I see it. Kathy, who is over maintenance, is a very rude person know matter how nice youre being with her. Even though maintenance has never fixed one thing at our place, they told her that they did, and she practically called me a liar when I told her they didnt. These people have very low standards when it comes to customer service, and caring for the tenants that pay their hard earned \$.
We have been with American Mgmt, since June 2001, on two seperate properties. About 4 years ago, a lot of turnover occured and now it is like pulling teeth to get maintenance to address an issue. What is worse, is the nasty women that work in the office now. We have been without a/c since Saturday and this morning, my hubby was told that they will get here when they get here, with the mercury rising and a heat index of over 100 degrees and the amount we pay for rent, that is not acceptable. I live at Parklawn Terrance Town homes for going on over yr now, I really liked K&E they did their best to fix the problem, Great price great space for the money, Recently in the last month American Management Properties has taken over and its been a night mare, Our pool is closed we didnt get a letter stating why just sign dangerous dont enter, Last year we didnt have any problems with the pool let along be closed....
