I am a disabled, retired Navy veteran. I stopped in American post 54 and ordered a beer. They would not serve me because I was not a member of American Legion. I even showed them my military ID and VA ID, they did not care. I felt like I was an illegal immigrant. I don't know if this disrespectful establishment would have even given me a glass of water because I was not a member.
