I am embarrassed that we bought an ALH new construction home, an $800k cash payment. We have had nothing but poor construction and repair issues the 1st 90 days of ownership and will probably have additional issues moving forward that will need to be addressed under warranty? My family has spent numerous hours of our lives supporting warranty repair that we will never get back. Was interested in a house in CO Springs and the sales rep completely misled us with pricing and made rude remarks about our finances for no reason. I don't recommend trying to build a house with this company.
Nice enough floor plans. Beautiful houses. I get the impression they are wanting to be a higher tier home builder; however, they lack attention to detail and opt for cheap materials in areas that would really make all the difference. While they aren't horrible, they aren't amazing... 3 stars because they are an average builder as is most.
