Melissa was very helpful when making my appointment. She got someone out the next day. Trevor came out and was great! He found the water pipe leak in the wall right away. My plumber was able to get it repaired the same day.

Awesome experience. Had a leak that suddenly happened in our pool. Made a call and within a couple days technician arrived. From the phone call that morning from technician (Nick) until he completed the job it was all an A+++! He was outstanding and found the leak quickly and did the repair! Awesome experience and highly recommended American Leak Detection if you have an issue!!!!!!!

I had an incident to occur on May 5th, 2026 with your company. The detection of a pin hole leak turned into a total destruction of my hardwood floors. The damage was avoidable had the correct process been executed in marking this leak. The technician who openly verbalized that "I'm pretty sure I made it worse" used metal like ties when marking the leak, that were pulled so tightly that indentations were made on the pipe. Would not recommend using this company. We had a leak underneath the road in front of our house. When receiving quotes to get it fixed, several plumbers recommended having someone locate the leak to minimize digging and avoid unnecessary damage to the road and yard. We called ALD and they sent someone one out very quickly, which was great. The ALD technician “located” the leak and spray painted a large X on the road to indicate the general location of the leak. I am very satisfied with the job Chris did on my pool leak. He was very polite and thorough explaining the process he used and how it worked. He was on time and kept me informed of his arrival time. I will use them again if needed and will recommend them for your pool leaks.
