These people have a very bad attitude. They don't give a crap about their property! The freakin bed was hard as a ROCK, the blanket was PAPER THIN, and the room SMELLED! They ADVERTISE that they serve breakfast but they DON'T! They also own the SUPER8 in town. Probably not any better. Next time I'll stay in Ames! I don't recommend staying here! Hotels are better in Ames!!
Being a loyal customer doesn't matter anymore. After staying here for months while working in the area. I go to checkout 1 day early & I I don't get a refund for that one day? Is this okay? I'm sorry, no, it's not!! I won't be back just because of that.
Hotel is old and in need of updates. Our room did have a new sink and vanity as well as shower head and faucet. However, he toilet is only about 2 feet tall. Great for a midget. The first night there were very few towels in the room. The second day they brought more. Room was clean though. The hallway does stink. Very musty and stale. Room itself was fine after we turned the air on. No sprinklers in room which I think are required now but Im not sure on that. Breakfast is advertised but there isnt any.
