My 86 year old husband was admitted to American House ,memory care unit,on 11-10-25. I paid over $9,000, which included a 30 day supply of medicine and a $2,000 deposit. He was there less than 2 days, and was admitted back to the hospital in Woodbury. When I was informed he was not eligible to return to their facility, I asked for a reasonable return on monies paid and was informed they would crunch the numbers. I was offered $500.00 dollars. Both my parents are residents at American House of Murfreesboro. Everyone seems happy and peaceful as they work to care for their residents. My mother is in memory care and that unit requires special attention and diligence on the part of all employees. My mother is well cared for. I know that my parents are safe, and treated with dignity and kindness. Good meals are served in a lovely dining room and sunshine filters in through big windows.
