The music was awesome!! The food was ok AFTER we finally got served. We sat for an hour and asked to be waited on at least 5 times. The waitress was rude. IF we go back to listen to a band, we will bring our own food.
Wow! Absolutely loved it! Best chicken sandwich around. I truly love history-especially the industrial revolution. Joshua is excellent at caring for customers. He took time to talk about the history in the area which added depth to my nostalgic experience. Look forward to visiting again.
They have a good selection of beer and the ambiance is great. They have corn hole boards in the courtyard and numerous TVs around. The service was good the night I was there, but it was Kate and I missed most of the crowd. The food was pretty good. But it is over-priced. I ordered the fish & chips. It was good, but also $14. I can get fish & chips at the Tap Room on the square for $8.
I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The food has been wonderful every time, especially the mac and cheese!!! I hear the deviled eggs are to die for but off the menu right now. � The beer is great and the staff has been very friendly and personable. AHAH is one of my favorite places to go in Hickory.
Went to the Ale house last night! My wife and I have been there about 10x before last night!! What a mess! The menu has change, but that wasn't the problem. The PC dip looked like a heap of cat food didn't taste good, the Pertezels were swimming in what I think was butter. I ordered 2 kids grill cheese both of the kids won't eat them. Good service, great atmosphere, great music and superb beer cheese.
Service was very slow. Watch tables sit and wait for over 10 minutes. Watched two tables walk out due lack of service. Hopeful the food will be good. Third table walked out. Way under staffed tonight. Food was awesome as usual but service was way off tonight. Do plan on returning Friday, it can't be any worst.
The Cuban sandwich is so good! And the deviled egg appetizer is awesome!! Definitely going back!
Country fried chicken and sawmill gravy was excellent , perfect portions, most of the staff was extremely courteous and the chef came out to speak to us as well! Don't pass this place by!!! PLUS....you can get beer of all kinds!!!
