Our 2017 Civic has had numerous problems with the AC. The technical service bulletins have been "fixed", but for the past five years, the AC has stopped working annually. After the most recent visit, the dealer informed us that it would cost $3,000 to fix due to the labor involved in disassembling the interior. I had already been in contact with Honda about the recurring issues, and their response to the dealer’s findings was basically, "Sucks to be you." Got a reservation to go but too long
Stay away from these cars, they are awful now; nothing like old Honda. Lemon cars that if lucky, will give you maybe 5 years .Honda quality is awful now, avoid buying these cars they have head gasket issues( doesn’t matter if it’s a 1.5T , the 2.0 are doing it now), fuel pump/injector issues that they know but don’t care about or offer help for. During a fuel pump recall had to replace a fuel sender for 1000 dollars on a 2018 Honda civic ; fuel sender is supposed to last the lifetime of the vehicle, and this one broke in 7 y... read more
