Honda does not stand behind the little things like their paint bubbling and air conditioning recall doesn’t include everything so now I am stuck with a Honda with bubbly paint and no air conditioner with barely over 100,000 miles. Shame on you Honda. I will never buy a Honda again. Picture is the worst of it but it’s bubbling other places as well. It’s that light flat grayish blue color and it sucks. This should not happen on a car this new!!
Our 5 year old pilot with 49000 miles on it had the AC break and the dealer calls it "black death" air conditioner has to be completely replaced. $9600 through the dealer. They have known AC issues in 2018-2022 cars but when I contacted Honda care, they didn't care at all and offered us nothing. I will NEVER buy Honda again.
I leased a car from Honda of Oakland, and the experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. After taking delivery, I never received my permanent license plates because the dealership sent them with an incomplete address — they left out my apartment number. I’ve always trusted Honda for its reliability, but my recent experience has been a huge disappointment. My 6-year-old Honda Clarity developed a leaking evaporator, and I was quoted $3,200 for the repair by the dealer. When I reached out to American Honda for assistance, I was told to go back to the dealer for another inspection—at my own expense—with no guarantee of any help or even an estimate of what kind of assistance they might provide.
