Cannot figure out how American Home Patient stays in business, other than they may be grossly over-billing insurers and Medicare. It’s now been 3 months since placing an initial order and they have yet to complete it. Their CS reps have been nice and seem well-intentioned, but the shipments either have not made it out without calling repeatedly, were the incorrect item and had to be returned, or were incomplete. Very poor customer service. I sent several emails to my rep requesting a phone call but received no response. I changed companies.
This company is a nightmare to deal with - do whatever you can NOT to use this company! 1) They sent my grandfather a bill in the mail before they sent the bill to his secondary insurance. 2) They told me they would call me to schedule an appointment to pick up the oxygen he was no longer using - they never did. They said that no one saw the notes where I asked them to call my number. 3) They just showed up unexpectedly at my grandfather's place to pick up the oxygen when no one family was there to show them where everything... read more
We were very pleased with the professional assistance that we received from Amanda and Jennifer. They took care of our VPAP needs and were excellent at their job. These two made us feel welcome at this store as they worked on our medical equipment/supplies. We will continue to go here for all of our medical supply needs. Many thanks for your kind assistance!
My wife has recently switched from Apria to American Home Patient. The service at this office has been very professional and My wife has been pleased with Amanda and her follow through. I noticed the review before stated the mix-up on billing. With Apria we never received a bill until something was owed and then it was just the amount and no explanation.
