Locally owned for over 20 years! EXCEPTIONAL service!!! AHD Blinds fitted our home with 30 blinds over 20 years ago. The only problems we've had are self-imposed - children ripping cords off, dropping blinds and breaking slats. AHD continues to offer any needed repairs on products they installed over 20 years with super fast and friendly service. As we update our home, we will continue to work with AHD. This is a great business. I was in need of a couple of blinds that needed repaired. Rather than spend a signficant amount of money on new blinds I was referred by someone to take them to American Home Design to see if they could fix them. I did so and the repairs were done within thirty minutes while I waited and I was not charged anything. The manager and staff were very pleasant, professional and helpful. I will return here for future business.
It's not often that a business surpasses your expectations by so much that you're speechless. I had a number of 23 year old custom made blinds that the tilt mechanism had stopped working on. American Home Design (AHD) was the only Blinds shop in my area that would even do repairs - everyone else wanted to sell me new blinds. I called, took my blinds in that same day and they were done in less than 24 hours! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, explained what they did and loaded them up for me.
