Extremely unprofessional place to rent from. My refrigerator has been broken since Thursday. I submitted a maintenance request Thursday at 2pm. I had to keep contacting to get updates, but continue getting the same response “maintenance was contacted”. When I arrived home Friday at 2 I happened to see maintenance and asked if he was here to look at my refrigerator and he wasn’t even aware of the issue. A very horrible company that charges high fees . We where charged 170 dollar late fee on a 120 dollar balance. Beware. They like to take advantage of people that are in troubled times or who pay late ( within 30 days) . Our property owner is a great guy. This is just a bad company to do business with. Also 60 day notice to elect to quit the lease. Everywhere you rent is usually a 30 day notice . So basically to get out of there rental agreement you lose your deposit. There looks like a class action lawsuit possibility here .... read more
Wanted to schedule a tour lady on phone was rude with an attitude. I have to spend $50 on an application before even seeing the place in person?? Those 5-10 photos is not even close to enough evidence to go through the process to apply when they can’t even show me the property. I wondered why they had properties listed for weeks at such low prices but NOW I know!!
The only thing I have to say is that Jeanine, since we began the transition process of moving from NJ to PA, was always extremely professional, and knowledgeable about the process, I thank American Heritage and her for such excellent service and speed in the process to being able to live in PA.
