American Health Holding does not use recorded lines for all of their medical health information and you can not get reference numbers for the phone calls from sub-departments or specialties like the air ambulance approval. The actual health insurance company who contract with them cannot see notes in their system in a timely manner. They also do not have a provider to provider number. They deem things medically necessary but they also block pre-authorizations from even being seen from our health insurance.

Horrible to work with as a provider. I’d advise anyone that has this insurance through Aetna to look elsewhere.

Denied a very common shoulder surgery that was recommended by a highly respected orthopedic surgeon. Apparently my insurance company uses them to screen surgeries. Based on my experience and reading the reviews of others, this seems like quite possibly the worst company in the world, unless you are an insurance company that doesn't want to pay any money.

This company fraudulently claims to work for health insurance companies, in my case for Aetna Meritain. In fact, they are owned by CVS and contract with health insurance companies to cut costs under the auspices of being "patient care coordinator." They claim to be on the side of patients, but all they do is attempt to get your written consent to be your "case manager" - which gives them the authority to override your doctors and deny your treatments.
