Recently American Freight has become under new management and I love it!!! They have been very helpful with our recent move and helping us get exactly what we want! Good quality and Affordable!!! We will definitely be using them in the future :)

Recently had very bad experience with American Freight. We bought a twin bed for our 2yo old daughter after we got it home and spend more than an hour putting together, there were HUGE gaps in between the bed frame and the mattress. This is MAJOR safety hazard for an adult, much less a 2yo. When we called the store they reused to refund or even exchange the bed. We left several messages for the reginal manager and never received a call back. We will never do business with American Freight again.
My wife and I came to the gainesville store and bought new furniture and took it home. We had some problems with the furniture and A.J. the manager helped us in a great way and we are so happy.
So I read the other reviews and after walking out of Gainesville Discount furniture due to a horrible and rude salesmen and woman we figured we would give this a shot. Very happy. Loved our saleswomen and very happy with the great deal! Maybe things have changed since the other reviews because we had a excellent experience. Thank you!
Worse furniture I have EVER PURCHASED! I hate this place.
Purchased a houseful of furniture from this Gainesville location, this year. In 2 months the Serta love seat had something give with the back support. I called the office and spent a month trying to get any where with receiving a credit. I've talked to the corporate office and I'm now waiting still for the couch credit as it started doing the same thing. Its ridiculous I've had to wait so long. I can not even sit in my living room. Do not purchase furniture from this company. The salesmen and managers are dishonest. Please read the thousands of consumer reports online. Also, contact your local Better Business Bureau.

Horrible customer service. Not one nice employee. Need to go back to the drawing board on how to train their employees on simple politeness. Merchandise is not worth the frustration. Can find better deals at Leonard's or Furniture kingdom. AVOID!
