I'm shocked they have good reviews and reading through the other ones makes me wonder if patients didn't ever experience other hospitals or if they caught the staff at a good time. I'm currently pregnant with baby #2. Our first baby was also born at American Fork and we didn't like them back then and still don't like them now. With our first baby, my water broke and we lived about 20 minutes from the hospital. Recently had our daughter here and I would rate this hospital (specifically labor and delivery and the recovery room on the second floor) about 97/100. They nailed all the most important things. Every nurse always washed their hands and followed all sanitation guidelines. Generally, all the basic things you would expect from a hospital are present here. Nurses were great and friendly. None of them seemed disaffected with their job. Doctors were also great, though of course we saw less of them. Janitorial staff was also frien... read more

I had the best birth experience and recovery here thanks to all the AMAZING nurses!! Annalee, Kylie and Becca were all fantastic ! We didn’t have one horrible nurse and they were all so personable!!

I delivered both my babies here, first in 2023, second in 2024, and couldn’t have had a more positive experience! All of the nurses are absolutely wonderful!! I felt very supported and cared for at every step of the way, from my labor, to postpartum, to caring for my baby and discharge. I felt every staff member, from housekeeping to food service, went above and beyond. They make sure to provide you with every resource possible to make you feel safe and confident as a new parent. I gave birth here in July 2024 and had a wonderful experience! All the staff were so kind and caring. I did not want to have an epidural and my nurse Steph was SO helpful in giving me positions to try and applying counter pressure to relieve pain. She was wonderful in teaching my mom and husband how they could help me as well. I am so grateful for her and all she did to make one of the most important days of my life such a positive experience!
