I ordered a mat for my kitchen, my credit card was charged right away. Two months have passed, they still have not shipped my mat. When I finally emailed, I was told it was out of stock, and there's no estimate for ship date. No one bothered to let me know that they have no plan of giving me the product that I have paid for. So I cancelled my order and asked for a refund. I was told I will get a refund. You would think that I will get my refund immediately, but no, it's been a week, and still no refund. I had a great experience with them. I received my email coupon after I'd placed the order. I called and asked them to give me the discount anyway. They've already issued a credit to my card! I hope the product makes me similarly happy.

I have been waiting 20 days and my mat is still “in production”. The website says they will ship within 1-9 days. On day 13 (there was a weekend in there so I waited to look), the order status was “in production“. I emailed the company and asked what the hold up was. They said they were waiting for a response from me, that they had emailed me several days ago asking if I needed my mat customized. American Floor Mats Company has the worst, dishonest, and fraudulent practices. Their customer service is horrible, they have a nasty attitude when a contact is made over the telephone, and sending e-mails is a nightmare. For returning items, you are responsible to take care of your own shipping costs after you paid shipping costs initially, and they keep 25% of your money on return items. I purchase two items for a total of $44.00 and was offered a reimbursement of $8.00 only, and had to pay my own return shipping costs. ... read more

I placed my order on May 3, 2021. I was originally told it would take a full month to get my floor mats. After the month was up and still no email telling me it had shipped I checked. The tracking on my order stated it would ship in 2 days. That same "2 days" message was there for a couple of weeks. I called and I was told I KNEW it was going to take a long time. Avoid this company like the plague. I called prior placing an order for gym mats and was told there'd be a two week delivery time. Well, a month later and still no delivery. The communication is poor and in fact there has been flat out lies regarding the order status. I guess this was done in an effort to maintain the sale. This company sucks and I regret having ever dealt with them.
