I received extremely poor customer service. During the call, I asked a rep for assistance in setting up a payment arrangement. The associate scoffed upon my request and advised that I had until 5:00pm THAT DAY to make the payment in full. He stated that if I did not make the payment that my account was at “risk” I asked for a supervisor to assist me. The supervisor, who provided her name then asked me (if I needed help spelling that) advised that she was doing me a favor by giving me until Friday THREE DAYS to make payment i... read more
I have never experience the harrassing phone calls or extremely rude service but I am currently investigating being overcharged for financing. It seems to vary each months sometimes being ridiculously high like 3x the amount of some months, makes no sense. I will fix rating if they fix my finance charges. What I can say good about them is that if you pay your note on time consistently it will dramatically increase your credit score. Hope this helps as a non-bias honest opinion.
Wish I would have read the reviews before I went here. Well actually I was going to go with Chase but I was denied and then these clowns took over. I hate all the girls (that is what the are little girls) Ashley, Jessica and one more. They are super mean and rude and it is hard to speak to them without getting upset. I don't answer their calls and their voice messages are too rude for my liking. I can't wait to get my tax return so I can pay my balance off.
Look, we all know everyone goes through hard times & pymnts my not b on time but you guys AMERICAN FINANCE take the cake. You guys dont just try to collect you guys HARRASS HARRASS HARRASS. None of you project yourselves IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. Your Asst. Mngr. must b truly miserable to allow you guys to harrass people the way you do. Had i known in the beginning about your company, I wouldnt have bought a car. You guys threaten thats not nice. Its against the law.
