I had a very disappointing experience at American Family Care. I paid to be seen, but received almost no actual care. They checked my vitals, looked in my mouth, and checked my ears, nothing that justified the cost of the visit. After the appointment, I called back and specifically asked if the doctor could prescribe something for my sinus symptoms and Tylenol. Went in for heavy nose and chest congestion. Made a comment to the nurse that I had been on over the counter meds for two weeks and would like a steroid shot. Doc came in, looked in my nose, ears and throat. Didn’t listen to my lungs, no x-ray, and said “so you want a steroid shot”. I said “yes if you think I should”. He said “well it will help” and out the door he went. I felt very dismissed and under cared for.

Scheduled an appt an hour ahead, still had to wait close to 2 hours. Why let people schedule appointments if you aren’t remotely close to meeting the time? Will not return, an absolute let down.
