Sweet new tables with umbrellas up for a bit of shade on a sunny summer day lined up along Monroe make this feel more like Europe. I was able to be out on the town, enjoy a slushie and feel very safe due to ADP’s COVID protocols. I appreciate they put all the food and drink on a table at the end of the table and customers then serve themselves.
American Dream Pizza oon Monroe. Worst service ever. Called. Placed order. Order repeated back to me and confirmed. 30 minutes later texted I was there as told to. While waiting another woman couldn't text with her flip phone, so I tried to be a good Samaritan and texted for her as well. She got her order. I waited. At 50 minutes, I flagged help when he was getting someone else their order. He checked for mine and came back saying they had no order and I had called downtown. I checked my call log. Start accepting US currency. You want me to support you, support me not having to run up credit card debt. I am keeping a list of businesses that accept US currency during this pandemic. When things open up, I will continue to support those businesses. Cry me a river when you're going bankrupt and begging us to support local business. It's a two way street.
