My daughter has been with this dojo for almost a decade and the teachers are extremely knowledgeable and have made her experience here wonderful. She has grown in so many ways and they have become like a family. I highly recommend ADAA to anyone looking to join martial arts for their kids or as an adult. Chris Folmar and Oliver Martinez are excellent instructors!

I’ve been a student at this dojo for 13 years, and it’s hard to put into words just how much this place means to me. My 2 daughters have been karate students at ADAA for many years since they were both very small. Both have learned great lessons in discipline, exercise, hard work and how to defend themselves. Their training has also boosted their confidence and their will to keep pressing forward. Are you looking for the best martial arts class for your young person, or yourself? You need look no farther. American Defensive Arts Academy comes recommended by some of the top martial artists in the field. This school is well ran and well equipped. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable. Your child will learn to both give and command respect, and to protect themselves when needed. Classes in Karate and Aikido are available for all ages. They are most highly recommended!👍👍👍

I've studied Aikido at this school for about 3 years after moving to the area. I also study at another school in Dallas, and studied in Arkansas for about 12 years prior to moving. I find the instruction excellent. And, the attitude and interaction of both the teachers and students is second to none. Watching the kids class, I'm constantly impressed at how well Martinez Sensei works with the kids. Highly recommend.
