I had been without hot water since November at my complex, Bel Air Creekside in Abilene Texas. I was having to shower in ice cold water. The people in the office here were horrible and didn’t care. But Tanner at American Communities was amazing. He cared like it was his own apartment. He took time and listened to me and really went to bat for me. He was kind and professional. Sunrise by the Park (Houston) has been completely ignored by this company for MONTHS. The residents had to call the city who condemned the pool. Elevators are always broken, pool was never open all summer. Now we have the worst new manager Erica. She is incompetent and incapable of running an apartment community. It’s impossible to get a hold of her and if you do, she’s rude and can’t even spell apartment. Has to be her first time managing and not sure how she’s qualified. Lights on but nobody’s home. My husband and I rented for two years at Sunrise by the park and they mass fired their entire staff after hurricane beryl we went from living in a beautiful well taken care of community to having 0 office support and once they did they brought in random temp hires who can barely spell apartment. We had a Lucious pool and gorgeous grounds and now there’s trash flying everywhere and the city came by to condemn the pool.
