I strongly encourage anyone wanting to rent from this company to go and read the reviews of how they treat their employees on Glassdoor. You will know why they can’t staff any property they own. There are some people who do not deserve to own companies and these owners are definitely those people. Only you the consumer can help make companies like this go out of business.
I am ending out my lease at Sunrise by the Park. It’s very clear Lisa and Ronny Guerrero, owners of American Communities, the management company, have ZERO business being in the landlord/apartment management industry. They are letting the property decline and firing good/honest staff who care about us just so they can keep collecting our rent and not using it to maintain the property. I have been trying to feel happy about my move-in at The Grand on Memorial, but I can't. I am really upset because my unit was not properly prepared before I moved in. I signed my lease in June and moved in on Friday, but the cleaning crew did not arrive until the morning of my move. Even after their cleaning, the apartment was still filthy because your team failed to complete the make-ready process. These guys are thieves and crock, they over charged me even i had my rent on auto withdrawal, they change my rent and after my lease was expired and never change auto withdrawal amount and they charged me $700 over in terms of penalty. After i moved out the property i went in office and asked them final dues, they told me $2057 which was include water bill, i paid that and now they send me another $1257.Now i am calling them every day and no one answer to explain me these charges.
