From cockroaches at your doorstep all the way to your apartment living room and bathroom, this is the place for you! Ensure you have a cat or 8, to knock those critters out. Oh, and don't forget that once you decide to leave this utopia of a renter's dream, expect to be contacted by a predatory collection agency based in sunny Florida known as Hunter Warfield a year and a half later for charges the River Lofts never informed you of in the first place.

I love my apartment. The staff is always friendly and willing to go out of their way to make my stay here a pleasant one! One of the best in RVA.

I am owed a refund from them and have called multiple times in the past week and gotten nothing back and left voicemails and they NEVER pick up or call back. But they answer when my boyfriend calls and they tell them they have sent me a confirmation email already and the refund is on its way. Which is crap. They've said this twice now. I've checked both spam and regular folder and bank account. Nothing.. This is getting ridiculous and it's very unprofessional that you can never reach anyone at the office when you need to. Positives: The complex is located REALLY nicely. The immediate area is relatively safe. My unit had huge windows and nice views of the river and city. The janitorial staff and folks I met in the management office were usually nice. My unit had in-unit washer/dryer, and a dishwasher. Negatives: Smoking is supposed to be strictly prohibited, but the smell of tobacco and pot smoke consistently lingers.
