I would probably rate the ACDA much higher if they got together and started to reject purchased music the printing of which did not meet minimum production standards. Our local group just performed Puccini's Messe di Gloria. The $7.95 copy from Alfred Music, frankly, stunk. Sixteenth notes were mushed together, half notes were filled in, quarter notes were haloed.
