No other group advocates for both patient rights and physician rights the way the ACA does while sticking to the most up to date evidence informed guidelines. I couldn't be more proud to be an ACA member.
The ACA does not do enough to try to help DCs serve more people. They seem to do what they can to try to appease everyone in our profession. By doing so, our progress is stymied. If DCs want to truly be a force in health care, they need the ability to compete head to head against other disciplines on an equal playing field. Why the ACA doesn't fight the obvious monopoly of medicine and medical procedures is beyond me. The organizations that are truly worth supporting are the FCPA and the AAPCM.
Bold move to drive forward the support and development of evidence-based chiropractic care. Happy to support such initiative!
Between the Choosing Wisely initiative and their rebranding, the ACA is finally taking a stand and letting patients and other medical professionals know that we are separating ourselves from the chiros who have discredited our profession for too long.
