Personally, I'm getting off the fence and will join the ICA. Our profession is under attack from so many different angles. The last thing we need is an organization that is supposed to represent us, join the other side. I don't have X-ray in my office and do not X-ray every patient but there should not be any restrictions on the basic tests that we do. Why don't you defend us against the insurance companies, Post Payment Audits, and the overall poor imagine our profession continues to suffer from?

Your recent stance on X-rays is the last straw. You have lost you way and are more of a detriment than a benefit to the profession. I am still unhappy about having my tuition raised at Parker to force me into buying a membership. This was nothing more than extortion which I'm sure your organization has no problem with. I will be joining the ICA now.

To the ACA "Choosing Wisely" is not scientifically backed at all. If you truly want to advance chiropractic look to the literature for your policy "choosing".

The ACA does not represent most Chiropractors, it seems to represent a small faction of medipractors whose goal is to turn a Chiropractor into a technician, like a phlebotomist--no intelligence, just rack'and crack and perhaps some laser bikini waxing on the side to make a little extra cash.

Choose wisely? Is it wise to not have any idea what's actually happening with a patient's spine? Poor choice, hands down worse.

This group joined an Internal Medicine Board and received who knows how much money to make recommendations for X-ray based off of financial reasons and not off of peer reviewed literature. It appears to be a deliberate action to dismantle and devalue the Chiropractic profession as a whole. The PCCRP which is accepted in the Best Practice and Practice Guidelines and published in the National Guideline Clearinghouse are the only Chiropractic Radiographic Guidelines nationally accepted from all of the current literature regardi... read more

You would think that an organization that is suppose to be the voice of chiropractic would do all that it could to make sure chiropractors moved forward and progressed. Wanting to take away the rights to x-ray and to tell patients that they shouldnt see doctors who x-ray is not only taking a step backwards, but it's just plain ludicrous. Nobody in the world has ever had pain from issues in their spine that did not relate to trauma. (Serious dose of sarcasm). I'm not a member of the ACA or the ICA, but after hearing about the... read more

You back the wrong horse most of the time, now you want to get rid of my ability to take x-rays so that I can properly treat my patients? Screw you. If unity in the profession means the ACA must die, so be it. Joining the ICA and would recommend others do, too. I've seen this group back Obamacare and so many other stupid ideas in the years gone by. Must say that you've done less than you should and could have to truly support this glorious profession.
