Just spoke with Wendy Hargrove who had contacted my elderly mother. I asked her who she was and who she worked for. She told me that she "works for the State of South Carolina"... I asked her who pays her and she then told me she's LICENSED by the State of "South Carolina and works for American Benefit Services!!! She WORKS OFF OF COMMISSION!!! Duh, I thought that ALL insurance agents are licensed!!! I told her that was VERY MISLEADING and she was very, very quick to apologize. My opinion, BEWARE...

I'd like to formally to respond to Mr. Ratliff. Yes, it's true we sell insurance and we make a commission. Dana is correct in everything he says here, except we don't work for the state of SC and our agents are not in the habit of misrepresenting that. We are licensed with the state of SC.
