The staff at the American Bank Center Arena were unprepared to handle the crowd for the Elton John concert. Lines were horribly long due to limited metal detectors and staff with wands for security checks. Once customers got past the detectors there was only one entrance to enter the building. I was in line, past through the detectors and just as I walked up to the side entrance (where many had entered) the doors were closed and I was told to go to the front of the building. The seats on the floor were way too small to cost $150 each! We basically stayed in the VIP lounge after the wine tasting because you couldn't see once the show started. We couldn't sit comfortably either because it was so crowded and the seats were tiny. The staff was great on the VIP level, and the restrooms were kept clean.
They should have side screens for he people stuck in a seat extremely to the side of the stage , we were at Elton johns back , he graciously stood up and turn to us but we could not see him performing
Great venue! Saw Elton John last night and was impressed with security getting folks through quickly but safely, and also with the staff on the inside.

Extremely unorganized and under staffed! I will never attend another event here! I will drive to San Antonio, Houston or Dallas where they know what they are doing!
