Dr. Ammeraal and the entire staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help you and your pet. I’ve never met nicer, more helpful people. When I adopted my five-year-old cat she was very sick and I took her to another animal hospital and they did nothing at all for her. Then I took her to American Animal Hospital and they nursed her back to health and continue to do so. They were so caring and careful with my cat and did a very thorough exam. The staff at AAH is no different than how you’d expect a PCP and office staff to take care of a human family. They treat our four legged family members like they are royalty!!
From the time you are greeted at the front desk, to a tech coming to take you in to an examination room, to seeing one of the pawsome vets, to being checked out, every one is smiling.

The entire staff here is so nice and you can really tell that they care! I went to a different vet for hazels first check up, and the staff was not as nice as they are here. They even have a cat waiting area. I felt very at ease. The doctor found isospora in hazel, and is very caring and answers my questions extremely fast. Thank you American animal hospital!
