I wish I could give American Alliance no star. They don't deserve it. This insurance company is a JOKE! I was hit head on by a big body GMC truck the truck rolled up on my 2017 Ford Escape and rolled off of it and drove off leaving me for dead. Thank the heavens above when this dud hit me, I was by the medical district of Rush Hospital. Those people, nurses saved my life. I was unconscious didn't know my name. On July 6, 2021 my son was involved in a traffic accident with an American Alliance Casualty Company insured driver. The accident was the fault of their insured driver - who cut my son off. Our car has been inoperable since the incident. We just received on August 13th their proposed resolution to repair our car. They are claiming only 85% responsibility even though their driver was ticketed and is 100% at faut for this crash. They claim "With respect to liability, tickets do not equate to 100% negligence. The worst ever I been waiting for 2 months to get my car from body shop I took them check a month ago they told me 2weeks it's been 2 months. I haven't gotten a a call yet with the status of my car. The shop never answer the phone so I have to take the bus to see what going on.

This company is not legit - be extremely careful in dealing with them. You might want to go through your own insurance company if one of their insured causes an accident. One of their insured crossed two lanes to make a right turn and in the process hit a car in the right hand lane. American Alliance denied the claim, saying "The policyholder has failed to cooperate with our investigation which prejudiced our ability to determine both involvement and liability." OMG. You are responsible whether the insured cooperates or not.... read more

This company is an embarrassment to the industry. They fail to own up to their insured's acts and are trying to pin 50% liability on my wife. Their insured received citation and company refuses to call witness who saw the whole incident to avoid further expense. Beware if you are ever involved with this sham organization.
