GREAT COMPANY ,Very satisfied customer for 15 yrs. – We have lived with peace of mind since having our alarm installed and monitored by this efficient company.It has been over 15 yrs, and not one complaint. Why are you internet invisible? – Months ago the CD player in our home intercom system stopped accepting CDs. Over the course of several weeks, audio stores, electricians and electrical handymen refused to even consider working on it, claiming that it was too old, and replacements were non-existent. Eventually, I was forced to purchase an entire new retrofit system from out of state, the wiring of which bore no resemblance to what was already in place. Stay away!! – While away on vacation we had a break in to our home. According to the neighbors, the alarm sounded however police never came. The alarm company did not respond, did not alert us and did not call our back up person to alert them of the break in. It is unsettling to learn that the trust you put into an alarm system has no merit and the money you spend each month for an unreliable company is wasted. Use this company at your own risk.

American Alarms -- Excellent Services/Price – We have used American Alarms for over 10 years, Their products and services are excellent. They are a local company and very personable. When we moved again we shopped around and found American Alarms remained the most competetive.

Response to Horrible Service – I would like to respond to this review and try to clarify a few things. We are a local, security company and pride ourselves in our excellent customer service. I am aware that this customer was dissatisfied but feel that she deliberately has misstated what occurred. First, as many of our customers do, she changed phone lines without first notifying our office. Your alarm system transmits data over your phone line. Horrible Service, Poor management – I bought a home that already had alarm system in place. I contacted this company for monitoring. This was a 3 year contract. When I changed phone companies, my alarm was left unmonitored for several days. I had to call them to come fix problem and the tech was a no show and a no call for the appointment. Then later my daughter tripped the alarm at 11pm on another day and no one called to see if we were ok. So I am done with them. I send 30 day notice to cancel and they did.
