At the time to board, on March 2025, I was not allowed to have my carry-on with me because my bag could not have the zipper tight; it was extended. But I found out in the airplane that other customers like me had their carry-on bags with the extension opened. My neighbor asked them if they had any problem, at the time of boarding, and they said no, no one questioned them. Why would they act biased towards me? it is supposed to be all or no one !!!

They have become just one more. They don’t take off in time, they don’t pull up to the gate immediately after they land, etc. for the price, I rather go somewhere else. I don’t see the value

American Airlines did a terrible job of customer service in Miami when their own computer system crashed. The gate agent in San Juan, Puerto Rico, lied to us when we boarded there on Christmas Eve. When we arrived in Miami, they left us stranded, pretended that they were not responsible for hotel or food vouchers, and assigned 3 people to handle a line of about 175 people. We stood in line for 3 hours to get (at our insistence) a $12 food voucher. We arrived 24 hours late at our destination. A total failure of the airline.
